RUSSIA AND THE NEW WORLD
I hope we are quickly coming to terms with the reality that the East-West ideological disparity will continue to grow rapidly, with greater and more precarious consequences to the World. The West handling of Russia with respect to the latter's role in Ukraine and the economic sanctions which the West continues to slam on Russia are now driving a new type of deviance from Russia and it's allies in the East, and at the end of this ideological conflict, i foresee the creation of two economic worlds, and a radically reduced inter-dependency between the West and the East and vice-versa.
A good behavioural characteristic of humans is, when we are exposed to some challenges, we innately tend to rise up to confront these challenges and proffer solutions to whatever effect they have on us. This perfectly defines Russia's response to the cold economic war it has been fighting with the West since the annexation of Crimea and further outbreak of violence in eastern Ukraine.
With the media propaganda that have ensued since the economic war began, one can not categorically enumerate how biting the western sanction on Russia's economy are, but what we can all see is, Russia have considerable rose to the occasion, and today, i personally think Russia is greatly taking advantage of the challenges to further grow towards a rapidly reduced Western Institutions dependency. This is evident by Vladimir Putin's active and increasing re-awakening and
re-building economic and military ties with old friends.
We already witness the establishment of some Russian's concept of International Services such as ones similar to services rendered by Mastercard and Visa and so on, which will serve the Russians. In the last few days, the world witnessed a Russian driven action propelling the BRICS Nations to move aptly in establishing new Banking Institutions and emergency reserves fund which will rival the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). We must take note of the fact that the BRICS Nations have about half of the world's population and one-fifth of the global economic output.
In Putin's outing in South America, we saw the Russian leader calling for more military-ties between Russian old friends and we saw new foundations being laid for future and more trades and Arm deals between Russia and South America. All in all, at the end of this imbroglio, perhaps the world will see a Russia that is more immune against the West and the establishment of two worlds. The price the Russia population will pay for this deviance is probably not an issue for people outside Russia to discuss. The Russian system works differently and the Russian government seems to be in absolute control of the Media and people within it's borders.
